food offerings because I was under the impression that this was more of a bar than a restaurant, but this menu was serious—it wasn’t just nachos, pizza, and mozzarella sticks—this menu has dinner salads, entrees, burgers, and sandwiches.
My aunt and I debated between an appetizer of beer-battered onion rings and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries weren’t actually listed on the menu, but somehow we saw or heard something about them being offered, and were intrigued enough to consider this debate at length. At the waiter’s
recommendation, we chose the onion rings, and upon tasting them, we were a bit disappointed. In my mind, I was comparing them to the onion rings that I had at the Buffalo Rose, and these were not nearly as good. Neither of us was very hungry, but the onion rings left us feeling dissatisfied, so we ordered a side of sweet potato fries too. These hit the spot! That first bite of the sweet potato fry was like a small flavor explosion in my mouth! These fries were deliciously addicting, so we finished the basket rather quickly. My only regret from my time spent in Golden was that I did not visit this restaurant
